Kerwin Du Bois was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. He began singing at a young age in primary school but it was in secondary school, his teacher encouraged him to pursue a musical career. He then entered the Young Kings where he claimed the title and then entered the National Calypso Monarch. He has wrote songs for Machel Montano and Bunji Garlin and in 2008 he tied for third place with Shal Marshall, for his single, “Gyal Farm”. He has won titles such as; soca producer of the year and best groove collaboration. In 2009, he collaborated with Destra Garcia, Allison Hinds and Denise Belfon for their song, “Obsessive Winers”.

In 2012 he won Song writer of the year for, “I am soca” and “Baddist” and “Bachannalist” won Groovy Soca of the year.
